The journey began in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where the owner had people from there help hook up the captain into a box truck. “He literally was flying all the way to Rockford,” said Goldstein.
Despite the change in location, Captain Skateland’s mission remains the same. He continues to bring joy and keep the good times going. “To watch a group of skaters at Skateland and to represent the strengths of the people of Rockford,” said Goldstein.
