Tips & Variations for Yogurt Smoothie Shots

To blend your smoothie, you can use an immersion blender or a regular blender. If you’re making a smaller batch, we like using a Magic Bullet or Nutra Bullet blender.

If you don’t have strawberries or want to try something different, you can substitute them with any of your favorite berries, such as blackberries, blueberries, or raspberries. You can also mix different berries for a unique twist.

Frozen berries work just as well!

You’ll want to use about two to three cups of berries. Adjust the quantity based on how thick you like your smoothies. If they come out too thick, you can add more yogurt to reach your desired consistency.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (4-ounce) whole milk yogurt (your choice of flavors)
  • 1/4 cup of organic whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon of organic honey
  • 2–3 cups strawberries or other favorite berries
  • Mini marshmallows for garnish

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients (except the garnish) in a large bowl.
  2. Use a mixer on high speed to whip the ingredients for approximately 1–2 minutes.
  3. Carefully pour the mixture into shot glasses and garnish with a strawberry and a mini marshmallow.
  4. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
