DeKalb County recovery group celebrates 7 years

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) – The Father’s House, an addiction recovery home for women, celebrated 7 years of hard work Saturday night with a banquet.

The Father’s House is on of several divisions of Addicts 4 Christ, which was founded in 2012 to make a difference in the lives of recovering addicts in Sand Mountain. Since its founding in 2018, The Fathers House boasts numerous success stories, and has become a leading movement in the area. It recently expanded to create “The Potter’s House” for men earlier this year and plans to open “The Sand Mountain Cafe” next year. The Cafe is part of a nationally-recognized program providing a recovery community center serving as a hub for resources, recovery support and life skills.
