Ty Jerome Out Four Weeks with Calf Strain

Guard Ty Jerome is expected to be out for at least four weeks after being diagnosed with a high-grade right calf strain, according to an announcement from the Grizzlies. The team stated that he will undergo another evaluation in mid-November.

Jerome sustained the injury during Friday’s preseason game against Miami. This setback comes as a blow to Memphis, which signed the 28-year-old combo guard to a three-year, $27.7 million contract this summer using the room exception.
